Africa is home to some of the most incredible animals. As we started developing our rhino prints, the design team was disheartened to learn that so many rhinos are poached for their horns. At the time, over 1,000 animals a year were killed in South Africa, that is 1 every 8 hours! We wanted to make the rhino center stage so we were off to South Africa to get a bit more educated and we learned so much. We know that Africa represents so much more than a safari destination and Cape Town did not disappoint. We were so inspired by the vibrant art scene, the modern and traditional artisans, and the budding design community.
